Outreach

The mission of St John’s Church is ‘Helping people to meet Jesus’. As Jesus offered fullness of life and forgiveness to those who believed in him we strive to live out his message of forgiveness and a new life, and make this message as widely accessible as possible. This happens in many ways, in many church activities. It is particularly focused in the Alpha course on helping local people who wish to explore the Christian faith, and in our support for mission agencies on those overseas who have not yet fully experienced a Christian witness.
