Sanctuary Guild

The Sanctuary Guild is made up of voluntary members. Each week two small groups, one for each church, work together on a five week rota system. Each group cleans either the sanctuary of the old church and the Church Lounge or the sanctuary of the new church and the clergy vestry. There are also a small number of flower arrangers who provide fresh flowers throughout the church on a weekly basis at both altars and the war memorial and in the porch area. This also is on a five week rota system. The Sanctuary Guild also provides pedestal flower arrangements for all weddings that take place at St. John's. It also decorates the church during Easter, Harvest and Christmas.
