You are in the lobby or old porch. Turn left for outside, half right for the old church nave or hard right for the crusader coffin lid or open the egg on the left to visit the ringing room (32 kB) or that on the right to see the bells (47 kB).

The lobby or old porch is under the Belltower. The image shows the entrance. The wear on the steps shows for how many centuries the tower has been used. The bells used to be rung from the porch but are now rung from the room above. There is an extension to allow one bell to be sounded from below.

Currently the lobby has scaffolding to support the ringing room floor. Following the latest biennial inspection the joists were compared to a popular breakfast cereal.
