Coulsdon Parish Church - Old Coulsdon, Surrey

St. John's is primarily a lively working church but it is in a remarkable building and this part is one of the most noteworthy. You are in the Chancel of the old church looking over the altar rail at the mediaeval stonework in the south side of the Sanctuary. The columns are of Purbeck marble and the carvings are particularly fine.
