You are behind the altar of the Old Church. Look level for the view along the church.
This shows the inside of the roof of the Chancel of the Old Church. Unlike the Nave,
the Chancel has longitudinal beams with barrels between. The space above is often home
to squirrels. The objects in the sixth segments from the
back of the outer barrels and the second and fourth segments of the inner barrel are lamps.
The mid tones of this image have been raised to bring out details of the woodwork.
