Coulsdon Parish Church - Old Coulsdon, Surrey

By the stairs which used to give access to the organ loft is a stained glass window of the Good Shepherd. The text is “I am the Good Shepherd” (John 10, also mentioned in Hebrews 13). Below the part shown is a dedication, “ADMG IN LOVING MEMORY OF ARCHIBALD JOHN O'CONNELL JONES A DEAR SON WHOSE GRAVE IS IN THE ADJACENT CHURCHYARD THIS WINDOW WAS RESTORED AND BEAUTIFIED BY HIS PARENTS 1935”. Unfortunately the stairs are no longer in normal use so the window is effectively inaccessible.
